The School Uniform
 
The school lays great stress on the importance of uniform in creating an atmosphere of smartness and discipline.
 
Stretford High School Uniform:
 
Grey trousers or skirt
White shirt or blouse
Double stripe v-neck knitwear
White socks or Black Tights (Girls)
Grey head scarf/Turban
Navy blue blazer and school badge
(worn at all times in school)
School House Tie
 
NO HOODED TOPS ALLOWED IN THE SCHOOL BUILDINGS
 
PE Uniform
  
Navy blue football jersey with jade trim
Navy blue SHS shirts
Navy blue and jade hooped socks
Navy SHS polo shirt
White gym socks
Optional – SHS jogging bottoms
 
Girl’s:
 
Navy blue football jersey with jade trim
Navy blue jogging bottoms
navy blue and jade hooped socks
Navy blue SHS polo shirt
White gym socks
optional – SHS navy shorts
 
All students must have football boots, trainers and year 7 students must have swimming shorts/trunks and a towel.
 
EQUIPMENT
  
We expect every student to have the basic items of equipment: a pen, a pencil, ruler, rubber, basic, calculator etc – for every lesson. You should also have a bag to carry your books, PE kit etc.
 
Text books and certain specialist equipment may be issued on loan. You will be given an exercise book or a folder for each subject. If you lose or wilfully damage anything you will be expected to pay for a replacement. This also applies, to furniture and the school buildings.

      Earrings (no drop/hoop earrings)Caps must not be worn or brought to school with our school uniform.
School bag  Extreme hair styles/colours/tan 
                          School Trousers  No jeans of any type, jogging bottoms, combat or sports trousers  

 

  

School shoes with no logo on at all

  

Or any trainers/bling boots that have logos of any kind on them

                  Tie, Shirt and Blazer 

 

No scarves, t-shirts or hooded tops worn inside school
