Welcome to the Raising Achievement Partnership Programme at Stretford High School.
HPSS status was awarded as a result of our Outstanding Ofsted judgment in February 2008.
Since April 2009 we have worked collaboratively with a wide range of schools locally, nationally and internationally, sharing our experiences and achievements through the Raising Achievement Partnership Programme.
So, what are we able to share our positive experiences of?
- The journey from Special Measures to Outstanding in just 4 years
- We are SSAT’s most improved school in the North West 2010
- We are consistently in the top 5% of schools nationally for CVA
- The English Department is recognised by Ofsted as Outstanding and has been described as “innovative and exciting”
- Improving examination results year on year
- 17% A*-C in 2004 to 75% A*-C in 2010
- 31% 5 A*-C including English and Maths in 2008 to 50% in 2010
- Strategies to improve attendance and persistent absence
- Innovative curriculum, including Project learning
- Leadership development
- CPD and Honorariums to support school improvement
- Setting up RAPP as a specialism
We are all on a journey in an ever-changing educational landscape. The collaborative work with our partners to date has been an exciting reciprocal process.
What could we achieve together?
